William F. "Bill" Tucker William F. "Bill" Tucker, of Amarillo died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006. He became a trooper for the Texas Department of Public Safety in 1970. He served as a trooper for 13 years and worked in the narcotics for 20 years. He retired from the DPS in 2002. He was a Mason and a member of the Khivas Shrine, Blue Knights TX-X Cal-Tex Riders & the Coors Cowboy Club.
